After #OneCapHero Eddie Robinson scored the opener in the first half in the first US match of the year, Landon Donovan stepped to the spot with a chance at history.

Donovan scores No. 35 of his USA career.

At the time, this converted penalty made Donovan the all-time leading scorer for the US Men's National team, passing Eric Wynalda. 

Donovan would score another 22 goals at the senior level. This was a proud moment for a player with plenty more in his future!
