The first of two friendlies in a little over a week saw braces from Landon Donovan and Clint Mathis.

Donovan shows some real composure here to wait and wait for the time to beat the goalkeeper, and he does with ease.

DaMarcus Beasley drives before laying it off to Eddie Lewis. The cross is tossed in and McBride throws himself to it.

The ball is flicked into Mathis, who finishes off the move.

McBride keeps the ball in before finding Brian West. West goes deep to the sprinting Donovan, who rounds the goalie and finds the back of the net.
