Born on May 17, 1982, in Alexandria, VA, the defender was drafted by FC Dallas in 2004 before moving to 🇳🇴 and 🇩🇰. He finished his career with San Jose Earthquakes in 2016.

He made 46 USMNT caps, netting five goals between 2008-14. His first came in the Gold Cup Semifinal against 🇭🇳 on July 23, 2009.
