Born on July 19, 1995, in Clifton, NJ, the defender signed with the New York Red Bulls in 2013 before departing to Chelsea three years later. He is currently on loan at Reading.

He has made 18 USMNT caps, scoring once. That goal capped the scoring in a 3-0 win over 🇳🇮in the Gold Cup on July 15, 2017.
