Born on May 31, 1989, in Lilburn, GA, the goalkeeper was drafted by the Chicago Fire in 2010 before moving the New York City FC in 2017, where he currently plays.
He has made nine USMNT caps, debuting in a 1-1 draw against π¨π± on Jan 22, 2011. He replaced Nick Rimando at halftime. Johnson has earned four wins and four clean sheets in his international career.
